Tour Itinerary: 10 Days Casablanca Desert Tour

Day 1 : Casablanca - Marrakech {245 km} 3 Hours

Today we will pick up you from the airport and we transfer you to Marrakech. It is known as the “Red City” because of its pink painted buildings. We will visit the souks in medina including a famous place called Djemaa El-Fna Square. You will be delighted by local dancers, snake charmers, and singers. We will spend this night in a local hotel in the medina.

Day 2 : Guided Marrakech city tour

Today we will pick up you from the airport and we transfer you to Marrakech. It is known as the “Red City” because of its pink painted buildings. We will visit the souks in medina including a famous place called Djemaa El-Fna Square. You will be delighted by local dancers, snake charmers, and singers. We will spend this night in a local hotel in the medina.

Day 3 : Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate {200 km} 4 Hours

After breakfast you will head out towards the High Atlas Mountains, visiting Telouet Kasbah. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit with the local people and wonderful places they reside and enjoy lunch at a mountainside restaurant. Thereafter, continue to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou going through many tiny villages and the river of Telout. Spend the night in Ouarzazate.

Day 4 : Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges - Dades Valley {140 km} 2:30 Hours

In our 10 days private Morocco tour from Casabanca takes us to Dades Gorges , Tinghir and the Toudra Gorges, where we will walk in the Gorges. Before that we will visit beautiful oasis in Skoura, and also kasbah Amerhidil. We pass Kelaa M’Gouna, and we will have lunch in the Valley of Roses. We will stay overnight in Dades Gorges in local hotel.

Day 5 : Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Merzouga desert {270 km} 4 Hours

Today we will explore the Todra Gorges. Later we continue our 10 days Casablanca desert tour to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch. Then we continue to the Merzouga desert where you will camel trek into the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes. We will spend the night in a desert bivouac (tent), and we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Day 6 : Merzouga desert - Midelt {265 km} 4 Hours

In the morning we will watch the sunrise over the dunes in the desert, then we ride camels back to the hotel in Merzouga for breakfast and shower. We continue our tour to Midelt, famous for its minerals and we stay here overnight in a local hotel.

Day 7 : Midelt - Fes {200 km} 3 Hours

After breakfast, we travel to Fes via the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will pass the city of Azrou, the nearest forest of cedar trees inhabited by monkeys. After we reach Fes you will visit the Museum of Dar el Batha and Tanneries. We stay overnight in a local riad – hotel.

Day 8 : Sughtseeing city tour of Fes

Today we will explore Fes medina and also a new part of Fes. In the medina – the old part you will visit many interesting places, museums. Fes has been the capital of Morocco for more than 300 years. Here we can find also the University of Al Karaouine, which is the oldest university in the world.

We will visit also Moulay Idriss mausoleum. An important part of the town is Royal Palace, a Jewish quarter called Mellah with its synagogue. Our 10 days Casablanca desert tour includes also a visit to the ceramic factory. Later afternoon you will have a free program to discover Fes medina by yourself. We stay overnight stay and dinner in a local hotel/riad.

Day 9 : Fes - Casablanca {295 km} 3:30 Hours

Today we depart to Casablanca. The city was founded in 1912 and it is Morocco’s most principal commercial town. Here we will visit the Hassan II Mosque. We stay overnight and for dinner in a local hotel.

Day 10 : Casablanca airport {35 km} 45 min

Today our 10 days Casablanca desert tour finishes and we transfer you to the airport.
